| Greetings from Napa Valley, | August 2007 |
|
There's a new crusher-stemmer at work in the cellar. We have a lot to look forward to! Here's a list of our upcoming highly anticipated new releases:
Visit the WEBSITE for current vintages On our website you'll find information all about the winery, the wine and the people. There are images and wine notes for all the current vintages. More information on how to buy the wines and where to go taste them.
In addition to recipes, we're going to feature wine & cheese pairing from our exclusive cheese connection in Europe. We're going to call it: "Bronwen's Cheese Selection" Here's what she recommends to go with the 2005 Sauvignon Blanc: "I'd pair the 2005 Sauvignon Blanc with a fresh buffalo mozzarella. While fresh, rindless goat's cheese works well with Sauvignon Blanc, it's easy to forget that the things that make the pairing successful--acidity and lack of rind--are present in many other fresh cheeses, from ricotta to fresh sheep's cheese to mozzarella. Thomas Keller famously uses confit lemon zest with mozzarella--this would play off of the zingy acid fruitiness of the 2005 GT Sauvignon Blanc." Delicious! From The Grill

Enjoy the lush aromas of lychees, the tropics and light herbal notes. The wine has a balanced acid level that is refreshing and clean, finishing with the flavors of pears, yellow straw and honey. This is our favorite wine to have with seafood, especially oysters and crab.
